Bringing the warmth. We all have our own tricks of lighting a fire. The shavings carved from logs are among the most used. Minna Niskakangas used watercolours to immortalise the wood chips she found at the campfire site in the national park, left behind by previous hikers. The beautiful shapes of the wood curls created a decorative pattern, partly printed in pearlescent silver ink on a soft rose base colour. The Kiehinen (Wood curls) collection includes table setting textiles, fabrics and cushion covers.
