When Anu Pentik and her family moved to Posio in Southern Lapland in the early 1970s, nature made an indelible impression on her. She wanted to capture it all in a tangible form; to create something as raw and untamed as the nature she lived amidst. Thus, Kaamoskivi was born. Now we have brought a new batch of legendary Kaamoskivi candleholders to sale. Handmade in Posio, at the world's northernmost ceramic factory. In the same landscape where the product originated. Each Kaamoskivi also comes with sand from Posio, collected by Anu from the shore of Lake Kitkajärvi.

The Kaamoskivi candleholder holds one candle. We recommend using only the Kaamos candle designed for the product in the candleholder, as it has not been tested with other candles and therefore we cannot guarantee the product's safety when burning other candles. As the product is handmade and thus the candle holes are unique, in some cases the candle may need foil for support.
