The small but resilient lichen. Lichen usually lives in rough conditions like tree trunks and rocks. But they can also be picky and need clean air to grow. That´s why they flourish in Finnish nature. While designing the Jäkälä (Lichen) collection, Minna Niskakangas thought her childhood near forests. She painted an organic and ornamental print originally on plywood.
The white Jäkälä pattern has been printed on thin white curtain fabric, which lets the light shine through beautifully. The Jäkälä Fabric Curtain Quality is made of 100% cotton, it is 150 cm wide and the report size is 32 cm.
