This charcoal-black, graphic throw blanket is a striking detail in living room decor and provides warmth on cool evenings. The black throw blanket from the Hiillos collection measures 130x170 cm and is made of 64% wool, 24% cotton, and 15% nylon.
Hiillos
Sometimes design is born in the heat of the sauna. Designer Minna Niskakangas found inspiration for the Hiillos pattern in the glowing embers and black coals of a sauna stove. The pattern's journey to fabric began in a stone lithography workshop where our designers visited. The soft patterns in the design were painted onto limestone with a pastry brush, from which professional printers created printing plates. The resulting prints were scanned and refined into a modern pattern suitable for textiles.
