Appointment News: Pentik strengthens its Board – Marina Vahtola appointed as Chairperson of the Board
Posio-based family company Pentik has been working determinedly towards renewal and growth. The family company's first external CEO, Riikka Wulff, began her role in August 2019, and now, for the first time, an expert from outside the family has also been appointed as Chairperson of the Board. Marina Vahtola, who has had a long and successful career in both domestic and international chain and brand companies, started as Chairperson of Pentik's Board of Directors on 5 June 2023.
Vahtola has extensive and diverse experience as Chairperson of the Board for family companies in Finland, Sweden, and Germany. She has been involved in the expansion of several companies into international markets.

The current Chairperson of the Board and the company's main owner, Pasi Pentikäinen, will continue as a Board member, working closely with both the Chairperson of the Board and the CEO.
