Pentik's Autumn brings the glow of late summer sun and the deep colours of darkening evenings into your home
Nature is an important resource for us Finns. Nature and its diversity have always been a significant source of inspiration for Pentik's designers. Many of the family company's most beloved patterns are born from nature, and next autumn's new collection also brings nature and the season into your home in all its colour splendor. In addition, familiar, beloved patterns have been updated to the colour palette of darkening autumn evenings.
Pentik, a lifestyle brand for interior decoration, invites Finns to slow down as autumn approaches and enjoy the last golden rays of the late summer sun, natural shades, and the freshness of cooling evenings. The autumn collection allows the glow of current plants and colours to shine in both home textiles and ceramic products.
- Our autumn collection embodies the message of our brand renewal: Home is our second nature. As days shorten and evenings grow colder, we wrap ourselves in the warmth of home and bring the best offerings of nature indoors through decoration. The coziness of autumn is created, among other things, by soft blankets and pillows adorned with the changing season's flowers, shades, and moods, says Taru Toivanen, Pentik's Marketing Manager.
There's a magical feeling at the end of summer and early autumn when nature is shrouded in a warm, golden glow. In Pentik designer Minna Niskakangas's new Kultapiisku (Goldenrod) pattern, the golden-yellow hues of the late summer sun bloom in a colourful meadow.
- The main idea was to create a delicate yet striking combination of the season's trendy colours: honey-yellow and energetic lilac. This autumn, homes are decorated with impressive and colourful patterns. Warmth for the evenings is created with playful details, colourful candle holders, and earthy-toned vases, Niskakangas explains.

Kultapiisku (Goldenrod) ripened by the late summer sun
Designer: Minna Niskakangas
Golden ripening grains and gently swaying grasses in all shades of yellow signal the arrival of autumn. The Kultapiisku collection features a wide range of diverse, colourful home textiles, grounded by soft wood tones and white.
Elegant Valssi (Waltz) now blooms in rich shades of violet, pink, and peach
Designer: Lasse Kovanen
Launched in spring, this modern and romantic home textile collection creates a stylish atmosphere in the bedroom and living room. The collection's colour scheme has been updated for autumn and pairs well with shiny steel, natural wood, and glass. Plain pillows and soft blankets also perfectly complement it.
Popular Inkivääri (Ginger) in juicy autumn colours
Designer: Minna Niskakangas
The new colouring of the Inkivääri pattern features delicious, ripe blueberry. The serene brown brings a hint of the rustling of sturdy coniferous trees to the pattern. Inkivääri offers a wide selection of home, bath, and bedroom textiles. These colours make it easy to create warmth in autumn decor. The new products also perfectly match the colour scheme of the light brown Inkivääri products launched in spring.
Polka-dotted and cheerful Kardemumma (Cardamom)
Designer: Minna Niskakangas
Kardemumma will be available in autumn in three new colours: blue, yellow, and green. The textile products effortlessly combine with Pentik's other popular patterns and colours and are perfect for enriching Kultapiisku, Lehto, and Inkivääri. The cheerful Kardemumma collection also includes trays and toiletry bags.
New candle holders and updates to beloved ceramic products
The new Myski (Musk) candle holders, designed by Minna Niskakangas, play with the tension between geometric shapes, soft and angular. The light green and pink candle holders, turned from birch, are a collaboration between Pentik and Sorvipojat and are made in Finland. In addition to candles, tea moments with Tuntu ceramic products bring a warm atmosphere to the darkening autumn evenings. The new mugs, manufactured in Posio, at the world's northernmost ceramic factory, have a warm, rustic colour palette and suit a variety of table settings. The autumn table setting is crowned by seasonal cut flowers in Anu Pentik's Pompula (Pom-pom) vases, whose colour scheme has been expanded from delicate pastels to darker, earthy tones.

Autumn beauty from guest designers
Saara Obel's beautiful and grounding Kaarna (Bark) pattern was discovered for Pentik's autumn collection at Aalto University's Design Lab. The pattern encapsulates the beautiful, curved shapes that nature offers, from bark to hills, rainbows to bulbs. Kaarna's natural, curved forms and serene colours bring the peace of the forest into every space. The pattern is widely available in both home textiles and utility ceramics.
The Lehto (Grove) collection textiles, designed by Claire Hocking, lead on an adventure to a blooming rural landscape. Paula Suominen's Hehku (Glow) pattern combines the entire autumn colour palette in home textile products.
The products from the autumn collections will be released gradually. The new Hehku, Kardemumma, Kaarna, Kultapiisku, and Tuntu products will be available in June, starting from June 12th. The Lehto, Myski, and Valssi collections, as well as darker colours from the Kardemumma and Kaarna patterns, will go on sale in the first week of August. At the beginning of September, the deep colours of autumn will be visible in Pentik stores and the online shop, as the blue-brown Inkivääri collection products become available.

The harsh Nordic environment teaches us to make places beautiful. The northern winter is not just about the Northern Lights. It's also darkness, sleet, freezing winds, and slippery streets. Perhaps it is the harshness of winter that has taught us to appreciate all the beauty that Nordic nature and the changing seasons offer. We - Pentik - are a Finnish lifestyle brand for interior decoration. We give form to what shaped us. Nordic nature. Our family company, founded in 1971, has the world's northernmost ceramics factory located in Posio, Finnish Lapland. We have 47 own stores, including our online store. Our turnover in 2022 was 25 million euros, and we employed approximately 200 people in Finland.
