Fabric consumption 80 cm of fabric.
Apron front:
Cut a piece of fabric 80 cm wide and 50 cm high for the front of the apron. Sew the sides with hems of approx. 2.5 cm + 2.5 cm. Then sew the bottom edge with a wide hem of 4 cm + 4 cm.
Waistband:
For the apron waistband, you need a strip 12 cm high and 2.05 m long, which you can get by cutting two 12 cm strips from the width of the fabric and sewing the strips together. First, iron the cut strip once lengthwise, folded in half with wrong sides facing, and then once more with the edges folded towards the center crease. This will create a four-fold, firm strip that is 3 cm high and 2.05 m long.
Assembling the apron:
Mark the center of the waistband and the center of the apron front. Insert the apron front between the ironed waistband, aligning the pins, and pin the waistband to the front. First, neatly fold the end of the waistband inside and start stitching the waistband forward close to the edge. Continue sewing so that the apron front is stitched between the waistband. Remove the pins as you go and continue sewing to the end of the waistband. Finally, neatly fold the ends of the strip inside and stitch the end closed.
Front pockets:
Cut a piece 28 cm high and approx. 70 cm wide for the front pockets. Overlock or finish the piece all around with zigzag stitch. Fold and iron a 5 cm wide hem at the top edge to the wrong side and stitch it in place. Iron the other edges approx. 2 cm to the wrong side. Pin this piece to the apron, leaving approx. 3 cm at the bottom and approx. 2 cm at the sides. This way, the attachment point will coincide with the hemmed parts of the apron, making the attachment points strong. Stitch the sides and bottom edge of the pocket to the apron, leaving the top edge open. Stitch seams from top to bottom in the pocket to create several pockets of different widths according to your needs.

The apron shown in the pictures is sewn from Pentik's light gray Pioni fabric.
