Artichoke - The Power of Flowers

When the artichoke flower is harvested for eating, it is small and green. But if the artichoke is allowed to bloom, its bud bursts into a magnificent purple glory. Designer Lasse Kovanen was inspired by the contrast between the raw bud and the striking flower, and designed the impressive Artisokka (Artichoke) pattern in two distinctive shades – purple and yellow, both familiar to us from the northern nature. Artisokka exudes the intensity and power of nature and captures the eye in any space.

The deliciously abundant Artisokka pattern brings new bloom to your home in two colors. The deep purple color of Artisokka electrifies the autumn atmosphere and brings a wonderful power of color to all spaces. Lasse Kovanen wanted to give the pattern a bold, rough, and modern look, so he painted it with a renovation brush and acrylic paints using simple, clear strokes. The centers of the flowers gain a lively and natural look from the splattered paint.
