The word 'tundra' comes from 'tunturi', the magnificent, gently sloped fells of Lapland that rise above the tree line. Only grass, moss, and, of course, lichen, which is a great delicacy for reindeer, grow on the tundras. Inspired by this unique and stark beauty of northern nature, Tundra brings a traditional Scandinavian feel to the home and dining table with its clean lines and natural shapes. The Tundra pattern was designed by Minna Niskakangas.
