A hand reaches for a brush, swirls the bristles in a paint pot, and paints a green arc, and then another, onto porous paper. A leaf. The watercolor spreads beautifully, becoming darker at the edges. The leaf soon grows into a branch, and from the branch, another leaf. So perfectly imperfect in its form, such that only nature or a human could create it.
