Pentik, the interior design lifestyle brand, invites Finns to slow down as autumn approaches and enjoy the dull grey everyday.

Life largely revolves around the home, which is why we believe it should provide energy to support well-being. It should offer a setting for happy moments, which are ultimately the most meaningful. With the products from our autumn collection, you can easily add a little cheer to rainy days. Toss some joyful throw pillows on the sofa, refresh your shower moments with our sparklingly colorful spa products, or go wild by getting a good night's sleep in our floral bed linens. Welcome, everyday!

The northern summer can be surprising. Ensure a summer feeling that lasts.

The northern summer often begins with a Midsummer with little snow. Fortunately, nature's whims do not surprise us in the north, so we know how to enjoy the uniqueness of summer. Summer is short, and you can never be entirely sure about the next day. We have wanted to create a collection that delights and brings back the lingering summer feeling even after the short summer. A light and lasting summer atmosphere, even year-round if you wish.

Highlights from the collection:

Lilia: A lively Frenchwoman who thrives among quiet people.
Lasse Kovanen
painted impressive French tulips for the Lilia pattern, known for their vibrant and untamed growth. The huge flowers sway unruly on long stems that twist with the light, and not even a vase can keep them in check. These flowers have a twinkle in their eye, just like us northerners, even though we are often considered quiet and reserved. The Lilia collection's textiles bring a joyous, exuberant atmosphere to the home, even now, as the scent of autumn begins to fill the air.

Lapinvuokko: An uncompromising small flower that endures cold and darkness.
Laura Isoniemi, chosen as the textile artist of the year in 2023, created the Lapinvuokko pattern in the darkness of mid-winter. Her mind took her back to summer days in the yard of her family's old log house. Memories of the small, resilient arctic poppies blooming along the house wall emerged, which she drew to bring joy and hope amidst the polar night. Pick your own Lapinvuokko from our autumn collection. These flowers don't need to be put in a vase.

We are ready for a rainy autumn.

The more it rains, the more we will enjoy it. Our autumn collection offers products for all senses, allowing you to savor the weather, the darkness, and the increasing melancholy. Wool blankets that warm you to the bone, candles that create atmosphere, and patterns that gladden your heart. Also, treats that we won't tell anyone about. Wrap yourself in a blanket and enjoy the rain – with a clear conscience!

Highlights from the collection:

Whooper Swan: The silent journey of swans.
The calls of swans carry far and blend with the mournful song of the freezing lake as they prepare for migration. It's a striking sight when a flock of swans flies silently overhead in the silence of early winter in the north. Minna Niskakangas's Whooper Swan pattern captures the large wings of our national bird, carrying them to the warmth of the south while we remain to enjoy the atmospheric twilight of the polar night. The pattern was originally painted with ink on wet paper. The golden Whooper Swan fabric features shimmering pearlescent print ink.

Reed: The most beautiful of the shore plants.
When the autumnal sea breeze whips rain across your face, the reeds on the shore bend down, just like us humans. From the midst of the ice crust, delicate seed heads reached out, inspiring designer Minna Niskakangas to pick up her paintbrush. The ink spread on wet paper created a frosty look for the reeds. The Ruoko collection includes home textiles such as cushion covers, table runners, throws, and bedding, with both an atmospheric dark and a calming light background color.

The harsh north teaches us to make places beautiful. The northern winter isn't just about aurora borealis. It's also about darkness, sleet, icy winds, and slippery streets. Perhaps it is the harshness of winter that has taught us to appreciate all the beauty that the northern nature and changing seasons offer. We - Pentik - are a Finnish interior design lifestyle brand. We give form to what shaped us. Northern nature. Our family business, founded in 1971, has the world's northernmost ceramics factory in Posio, Finnish Lapland. We have 47 own stores, including our online store. Our turnover in 2022 was 25 million euros, and we employed approximately 200 people in Finland.
