A Bottle from Posio, Soap from Korsnäs
The passion of two Finnish family businesses gave rise to a collaboration for responsible soap and sustainable design.
It all started one beautiful autumn day when our CEO Riikka visited Dermosil's factory in Korsnäs. Pentik and Dermosil have a lot in common: we are both Finnish family businesses, our headquarters are located in small but lively towns in the middle of unique nature, we love beauty, and our customers value quality. From this foundation, the idea to do something together was born. The big overarching theme was "responsibility."
During Dermosil's reciprocal visit to Posio, they were already looking at prototypes, and the companies were refining details with designer Tuuli Saarelainen and artist Anu Pentik. Pentik's first ceramic soap bottle in its history and the collaboration between two Finnish companies for responsible soap and sustainable design were born. Dermosil developed and produced soaps that fit the spirit of the collaboration: one for the kitchen and one for the bathroom. The high-quality soap cleans without drying out hands, and a mild scent crowns the experience.

The gently cleansing soap from Korsnäs exudes Ostrobothnian resilience and gentle freshness. The soap, packaged in a refill pouch, gives the ceramic bottle a long lifespan, while significantly saving plastic.
