Right next to Pentik's own ceramics factory, the northernmost in the world, is a pond with mirror-clear water and pond-lilies growing along the banks of it. The white flowers swaying along with the waves soothe the mind into a magical peace. As if gazing into the flame of a candle. Designed by Tuuli Saarelainen, the Ulpukka (Pond Lily) tealight cup has a modern, soft shape. Designed to be multi-purpose, Ulpukka is also ideal for serving treats or storing small objects drifting around on tables, for example.
The turquoise ceramic candle cup measures 6x13 cm. It is machine washable and can be used in electric ovens, baking ovens, microwave ovens and freezers. Made in Finland, in Posio.
