Our Northern Roots

Just as swans always remember to return to their roots, so do we. Our patterns reflect the northern nature in its stark beauty. The subdued yet festive Laulujoutsen (Whooper Swan) pattern creates an earthy atmosphere in the kitchen with its painterly design language. Minna Niskakangas originally painted the pattern with ink on wet paper, so her unique artistic touch is visible in an interesting way. Combine the light, golden hues of Laulujoutsen with fresh white or brown Tuntu dishes.
