1980s
The 1980s were a time of strong economic growth. New premises were found for the manufacture of the company’s increasingly popular leather clothing. This side of the business thrived and at its height employed a staff of 30. The ceramic factory was extended twice during this decade and Pentik worked closely together with local authorities to launch hugely popular visitor attractions in Pello, Ranua and Kuusankoski. The mid-1980s saw the launch of the Artzan furniture line and the Pentik Novus china studio.
